A distinguished Grand Cru Burgundy from Domaine d’Eugénie, produced from Pinot Noir grown in the southern part of Grands-Échézeaux, just above the Clos de Vougeot. The domaine’s 0.5-hectare parcel has deep clay-limestone soils and is farmed using certified organic and biodynamic practices. The vines average around 60 years of age.
Tasting Notes
- Aroma: An elegant and complex bouquet of dark cherry, blackcurrant, violet, peony, spices, subtle smoke and orange zest.
- Palate: Refined and concentrated, with silky, finely structured tannins, pure dark fruit and impressive depth. A pronounced saline character brings freshness and precision.
- Finish: Exceptionally long and energetic, with lingering mineral, spice and dark-fruit notes.
